Former HELLOWEEN Singer Lays Down Vocals For PLACE VANDAME Project
March 31, 2005Former HELLOWEEN frontman Michael Kiske has accepted an offer to sing for a project called PLACE VANDAME. The project, which is headed up by Frontiers Records owner Serafino Perugino, has finished recording 11 songs, which are said to follow an "AOR" sound, "comparable to bands like FOREIGNER or JOURNEY." Michael reportedly had a lot of fun during the recordings, as he really liked the material.
In other news, Kiske went to the hospital several weeks ago to finally get rid of the stomach problems that have plagued him for quite some time. The operation went smoothly and Michael is said to be "totally fine again."
With regards to his own solo material, Kiske has already completed the pre-production of 14 songs, and is in the process of procuring a new record deal. More information will be made available soon.
